An excellent tip. I often find myself in that position in my Philosophy class. I am always put in a position of defending my faith and conservative political views against the atheistic teachings of my professor. Sometimes I'm just stumped. Thanks Greg for the tip.

I have notice over the years that those surprise questions that people are unprepared for almost always leads to panic mode, and that can cause a pair of intelligent people to turn into brawling animals. This tactic, along with a little prayer before hand goes a long way toward preventing this.

Very good thoughts. I feared you were going to forget the most important thing until about the three minute mark: say thank you!

As always, another extremely useful tip from Mr. Koukl. Stand to Reason is the website to go to find answers to the questions posed to you and for the ones raised in your own mind. Highly recommended!!!!!!
