There is a far deeper problem than atheism infecting the church. Alisa Childers, a Christian singer with ZOEgirl, almost got infected herself. She was challenged to renounce the true gospel and adopt another gospel— that of progressive Christianity. She joins Frank to tell her story and discuss her fabulous new book “Another Gospel,” which is part autobiographical and part apologetics.

Among the issues they cover:

How did your pastor try to convert away from the true Gospel?
What is progressive and Christian about progressive Christianity?
What are the basic beliefs of progressive Christianity?
What the signs of a person or church-going in that direction?
Why do people become progressive Christians?
How is progressive Christianity more intolerant than true Christianity?
What are its racist and Marxist roots?
What evidence do we have that the early Christians were conservative, not progressive?
How do you reach out to those who consider themselves progressive Christians?

Get the book! Here’s Frank’s endorsement: “I love this book! Alisa Childers takes you on a captivating journey from her unreflective conservative Christian faith to the cliff of another gospel and then back home to the true Jesus. Along the way, she deconstructs progressive Christianity with wit, insight, and easy-to-remember evidence. Another Gospel? will inoculate you from a temptation far more seductive than atheism. And it’s an enjoyable read too!”

    The First Principle of God's

    Government – Theocracy:-

Jesus said, "I am The Way, the Truth and the Life" and "no man comes to the Father except by me." How does that relate to the Song of Moses (the Mosaic Law in The Covenant)? The Covenant is called "The Way" in The Torah (Deuteronomy chapter 9 verses 12, 16 and 11:28 and 13:5 and 31:29) and Jesus was saying that he was a living demonstration of it (The Way) in action, demonstrating how YOU have to be if YOU want to survive and go home to Father. Again we have perfect harmony between the two "Songs" – The Song of Moses and the Song of The Lamb.

Mankind over 6,000 years has never yet been clever enough; because he is "blinded" by his own arrogance and selfishness; to see the Wisdom of The Covenant and God's Laws and that they are the ONLY way to peace and harmony.

Arrogance and ignorance are the two sides of Satan's coin.

Humility and Wisdom are the two sides of God's coin.

In the day that man, in his Satanically inspired (and copied) arrogance, thought himself to be wise (like Satan did), he became a fool; fooled and deceived by his own ignorance of his own arrogance: ignorance that he tries to conceal with his arrogance, even from himself (just like Satan does).

The Laws and Principles of Government, given by the Ruler of The Universe, via Moses, are what have maintained peace in the Universe for Eternity. If you want to be pardoned and released from this lunatic-asylum prison-planet, and from your human organic-computer prison-cell (body) and go home, back out into the Universe, back to where you came from and live forever, with your real family and friends, then you have to learn those Laws and Principles here and PROVE that you can keep and live by them, here under all and extreme conditions and temptations, before you can be trusted and released. The Messiah said in Revelation chapter 2 verses 26, 28, "To him that overcomes and keeps MY works unto The End, …….. will I give the Morning Star."

I will give you an easy illustration for you to be able to better understand this Universal Principle:-

If you have a hundred people of whom you are one and each person puts themself first and is out-for-themself and what they can get, then all you will ever have is competition, strife, violence and war. The history of this planet is proof of that fact.

The strong will oppress the weak. The rich will oppress the poor. The clever will oppress the not so clever and there will be continual struggle for survival, leading to crime, violence, war and eventually total annihilation – Armageddon. How can there possibly NOT be?

On the other hand; as Jesus demonstrated when he gave his life voluntarily for the benefit of everyone else; if you take exactly the same hundred people of whom you are one and everybody, including you, now puts everyone else first, before their "Self", then each individual, including you, wins ninety-nine times, because each individual has ninety-nine other people putting them first.

However, it will not work unless every single person does it, because one bad apple RUINS the whole barrel.

To explain even more clearly still, in terms that everyone should be able to understand, if they want to understand, one human family can amass an absolute fortune, under selfish, fraudulent, illegal laws; in the space of two hundred Earth years; and, in so doing, make millions of other people POOR and miserable.

Imagine what would happen IF they were NOT human and lived for ever (zillions of years). How many poor people, and wars, and how much havoc; strife and misery could they then create?

That is why you were sent here and are still here on this prison-planet because you are NOT really human and have never RE-learned those "Universal Principles" as you were COMMANDED to "on pain of death" and if you were released YOU would cause the very havoc that I have just told you about.

God explained to you, via Moses, that those of you who will not LIVE by those Principles and The Law will DIE by The Law, and, contrary (the opposite) to what you have been told by priests of all denominations, He always says what He means and HE MEANS EXACTLY WHAT HE SAYS.

Perhaps now you can see why God abolished the and all priesthoods except for The High-Priest, for all time, after the order of Melchizedek. – JAH

In the very little time that you have left to learn the New Song, before Execution-Day arrives; for those who are still committing treason; you had, if YOU want to survive, better REPENT and start learning to sing The New Song, "for the Kingdom of God IS AT HAND." – on The Rock (Gibraltar) – FIRST (Isaiah 42).

You will be unable to do that without reading, digesting and Living "The Way home or face The Fire" by this author – JAH.

1:1 Paul, an apostle, (not of men, neither by man, but by Jesus Christ, and God the Father, who raised him from the dead;)

1:2 And all the brethren which are with me, unto the communities of Galatia:

1:3 Grace [be] to you and peace from God the Father, and [from] our Lord Christ Jesus,

1:4 Who gave himself for our sins, that he might deliver us from this present evil world, according to the Will of God and our (adopted) Father:

1:5 To Whom [be] glory for ever and ever. Amen.

1:6 I marvel that ye are so soon removed from Him that called you into the grace of Christ unto another gospel (christianity):

1:7 Which is not another (because they "call" it christianity); but there be some that trouble you, and would pervert the [True] gospel of Christ.

1:8 But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you (to be "True to The Covenant" – "Covenanters"), let him be accursed.

1:9 As we said before, so say I now again, If any [man] preach any other gospel unto you than that ye have received, let him be accursed.

1:10 For do I now persuade men, or [does] God [through me]? Or do I seek to please men? For if I yet PLEASED men, I should NOT be the servant of Christ.

1:11 But I certify you, brethren, that the gospel which was preached by me is not from man.

1:12 For I neither received it from man, neither was I taught [it], except by the revelation of Jesus Christ.

You’re in a conversation with a Christian, and they ask, “Have you accepted Jesus Christ as your personal Lord and Savior?” What would you say? I’d say, “No, because after observing the many Christians I interact with on a daily basis shamelessly indulging in their double-standard, scripture-twisted, daily hypocritical walk with their lord, I feel comfortable enough to say that you haven’t either, so what’s your point?”

Philippians 1:27, “Only conduct yourselves in a manner worthy of the gospel of Christ, so that whether I come and see you or remain absent, I will hear of you that you are standing firm in one spirit, with one mind striving together for the faith of the gospel.”

Colossians 4:5-6, “Conduct yourselves with wisdom toward outsiders, making the most of the opportunity. Let your speech always be with grace, as though seasoned with salt, so that you will know how you should respond to each person.”

1 Peter 1 13-16, “Therefore, prepare your minds for action, keep sober in spirit, fix your hope completely on the grace to be brought to you at the revelation of Jesus Christ. As obedient children, do not be conformed to the former lusts which were yours in your ignorance, but like the Holy One who called you, be holy yourselves also in all your behavior; because it is written, “You shall be holy, for I am holy.”

1 Peter 2:12, “Keep your behavior excellent among the Gentiles…”

1 Peter 1:15, “But like the Holy One who called you, be holy yourselves also in all your behavior.”

Galatians 5:26, “If we live by the Spirit, let us also walk by the Spirit.”

Churches don’t preach the gospel anymore and this is how false gospels really gain a footing. We’re too busy doing 5 part series on dating and self-help sermons for how we can have our best life now.

Progressivism has the correct diagnosis but the wrong prescription for treatment. It recognizes that the love of God in the church has been replaced with legalism, but rather than return to the Lord, the source of love, it turns to the world's counterfeit of love which is politically correct permissability.

Legalism has paved the way for Progressivism. Word of Faith taught us not to identify our faith with the transformation that occurs through fellowship and intimacy with the Lord, but rather place God outside of our hearts as a deal-maker or waiter, whose job is to procure for us the things we desire for an affluent lifestyle.
As our hearts dried up for lack of fellowship with Holy Spirit, we turned to serving God according to rules which is legalism.
Legalism is morphing into the Progressivism we see as a backlash, recognizing the love of God has been replaced with judgemental legalism, but rather than return to the love of fellowship with the Lord, it has in error sought instead the counterfeit love of the world which is politically correct permissability.

    Will you go to Heaven?
Here’s a quick test: Have you ever lied, stolen, or used God’s name in vain?
Jesus said, “Whoever looks at a woman to lust for her has already committed adultery with her in his heart.”

If you have done these things, God sees you as a lying, thieving, blasphemous, adulterer at heart, and the Bible warns that one day God will punish you in a terrible place called Hell. But God is not willing that any should perish.

Sinners broke God’s Law and Jesus paid their fine. This means that God can legally dismiss their case: “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.”
Then Jesus rose from the dead, defeating it. Today, repent and trust Jesus, and God will give you eternal life as free gift. Then read the Bible daily and obey it. God will never fail you. (living waters/ray comfort)
    God bless

The question of why do they view the Christ through the lens of victimhood I think is based on 2 points:

    1. They do not believe that sin separates us from God. (See Mrs. Childers remark on the story of Eden). The question then is: If sin does not separate us from God, why was Christ crucified? There answer has to be something evil. For instance 'We wanted out pound of flesh' as Mrs. Childers says. So God in his holiness, condescends to give us something evil? Instead of standing against sin, he gives into it?

    2. Punishment for sin. Because of the first issue, then punishment for sin either doesn't exist in their worldviews, or they believe that it is only for specific people that are deemed evil. Barring the massive amount of questions that that proposition begs, in the end we are believing in two different deities. One who states that sin is wrong and because of it we are damned unless we seek forgiveness through the Son, by faith. The other that believes that sin is a minor issue that requires no atonement.

If the two points above are believed, they then think of an innocent man who suffered for no reason. Therefore, he is a victim of some kind of cosmic cruelty. What a god they serve.

If Jesus is God then why he said in gospel of mark chapter 13 verse 32 "and for the day or the hour, nobody knows when it will come. Not even the son nor the angels but only the father". Now if Jesus is God then why he said that he doesn't know the hour? God is all knowing. So Jesus should have known this if he was God. And it is clearly mentioned in book of acts chapter 2 verse 22 "ye men of Israel listen to this. Jesus of Nazareth a man approved of God amongst to you by wonders and miracles and signs which God did by him and you are witness to it". Read carefully "Jesus of Nazareth a man approved of God" not God approved of man but a man approved of God amongst to you by wonders and miracles and signs which God did by him and you are witness to it. Jesus says in gospel of john chapter 17 verse 3 "and this life eternal that you know the only true God and Jesus christ whom you have sent". Now if Jesus is God then why he said that God sent him? Please answer these

  18. Hi

EXACTLY! We have two polarized "church's" right now as well. I say polarized because that's where it's heading just like the two-party system today. Forgive me if anyone feels attacked by the following generalization.
The right who is our evangelical, Spirit denying, social conservative wolfmen-like, almost unloving to anyone but their own.
The left who is our new and trending modern hipster progressive, social justice, overemphasizing the Spirit and dare I say perverting things, lawless, and dare I say OVER loving? Overindulging? Corinthians anyone?
Both know in part, both may/may not be in the love of God, both sit in their pews and idolize a pastor, both need repentance!
The hardest thing is knowing if this current divide is of the devil or if God is exposing His people to their sins as He did before with famine that they might repent.
What's getting harder is not knowing who is in Christ, who abides in His love, who is just a confessing Christian, what work is of the Lord or that of tickling ears and bellies…
We need to be praying and seeking Him more than ever in the secret place my fellow brothers and sisters. May the greater harvest of repetance begin in us first as it always has.

Progressive Christianity is an approach to the Christian faith that is influenced by post-liberalism and postmodernism and: proclaims Jesus of Nazareth as Christ, Savior, and Lord; emphasizes the Way and teachings of Jesus, not merely His person; emphasizes God's immanence not merely God's transcendence; leans toward panentheism rather than supernatural theism; emphasizes salvation here and now instead of primarily in heaven later; emphasizes being saved for robust, abundant/eternal life over being saved from hell; emphasizes the social/communal aspects of salvation instead of merely the personal; stresses social justice as integral to Christian discipleship; takes the Bible seriously but not necessarily literally, embracing a more interpretive, metaphorical understanding; emphasizes orthopraxy instead of orthodoxy (right actions over right beliefs); embraces reason as well as paradox and mystery — instead of blind allegiance to rigid doctrines and dogmas; does not consider homosexuality to be sinful; and does not claim that Christianity is the only valid or viable way to connect to God (is non-exclusive).
    My comment:
Since I am not a Christian and I do not believe in gods
None f this applies to me.
    Thank god.

Based on my own experience over the last few years, I think the "Christian light/dumbed down" version being preached in some churches, is directly related to the desire to bring more money in the doors. Operating as businesses above anything else. I was shocked and disgusted to learn how many churches in my area, took paycheck protection money- which locked them into having to follow the government rules for reopening. All the while, continuing to accept tithe money while keeping their doors closed. Really scary how easy it was for the government to gain massive power of the churches.

In Amos 8:11 it says that God would send a famine for hearing His words in the end days and in Daniel 7:25 He said that He would give power to the Antichrist to "change times and laws" for a period of time, and as it turns out that meant history and laws of physics along with scripture! Wer're seeing the "lying signs and wonders" spoken of in 2nd Thessalonians 2 happening before our eyes!
Until you've adequately studied the Mandela effect, particularly the bible changes, you can't possibly understand many of the prophesies. I've seriously studied this phenomenon four years, watched thousands of videos on it, and if you'll just click on my icon of the Lion and Lamb, (which aren't mentioned together in any bible anymore!), you'll find a playlist marked PROOF OF BIBLE CHANGE.
For eyes to see the most important thing that's happened in 2,000 years, proof of the validity and accuracy of prophecy, that we're in the very last days and the greatest strengthening of faith you can imagine, watch those films! God bless!!!
