    Is Frank Turek inherently good?

If yes, then why can't other people be inherently good too?

If no, then nobody should listen to anything he has to say about God or any other issue.

The soul is of the same spiritual substance as God's body, and as such, the soul is inherently good.

It is our inherent nature to be Godly, and it is our inherent nature to be good.

When we are ungodly or bad, it's because we're misusing our free will and going against our inherent nature.

1- Based on psychiatric medical science, you are hallucinating if you think an imaginary being is giving you commands / comments. I'm not denying that the hallucination can improve your life, I'm saying just because it improves your life it doesn't mean you are not hallucinating.

2- Can you prove the miracles in the Bible and its eyewitnesses were not made up?

3- Can you prove God is not just a figment of your imagination?

4- Do you not understand that the Bible is the claim, not the evidence, for the God of the Bible?

This reminds me of that Ray Comfort shtick where he asks "Have you ever lied? At least once? Then that makes you a liar! Have you ever stolen anything? Then that makes you a thief! Have you ever been angry with someone? Then you're a murderer!" I could just as easily ask questions like "Have you ever told the truth?" or "Have you ever given to a charity?" or "Have you ever loved someone". If Turek is going to propose a scenario where people would commit an assortment of crimes if there were a 24 hour suspension of prosecutorial crimes, then I could just as easily point to situations where people  volunteer to assist others in natural disasters, even at the risk of their own lives. His conclusion that "it's easier to do bad than good" is just an assertion without real evidence.

the saying the fruit of the tree is the same as the tree…if the fruit is bad..so is the tree…if the fruit is good…so is the tree. thru generations those who had bad intentions follow a blood line same as good people

The hypothetical situation Frank describes here sounds exactly like those The Purge movies where all laws are suspended for something like 24-48 hours and utter chaos ensues.

The American view on life, morality, government and legislation is weirdly interesting…
There is a good reason why many countries have a secular government. It is the way to go.

Frank Turek sure knows how to make his point! "What would happen if tomorrow anyone could commit any crime they want and wouldn't be prosecuted?" That would be a FRIGHTENING prospect, to me, no mater what city I lived in!

The Christian Perspective: People aren't perfect and I'm an example. I asked for mercy and so should you!

The Atheist Perspective: People are perfect as long as they act like me. If you stopped disagreeing with me then we'd all be happy!

Law does not change or save anyone. Lots of people in prison can testify to that. Law is merely an external restraint on people who don't want to obey God. Only the love of God in Jesus Christ can change someone's heart and eternal destiny.

Christ himself said that even he was not "good". Only one is good and that's the creator. C'mon, even Jesus knew that.

"Religion is an insult to human dignity. With or without it you would have good people doing good things and evil people doing evil things. But for good people to do evil things, that takes religion."

One fruit of the Spirit is self-control. People clearly lack this. And do evil things.

the government is NOT here to prevent people from doing evil. 1st is to protect us from out side threats & conduct trade on our behalf. when our rights are infringed by others, we can give permission to the courts/authorities to bring them to "justice". thats not prevenative, thats consequential. the price of living in a free society is the consequense of peoples (including yourself) choices.

also, keep doind what you do, great stuff
