    This is not completely true, even though, yes God loves us even in our sin, he hates us as well because of our sinful hear and sinful character, there is plenty of verses throughout the Bible that clearly explain that God hates sinners, he pours his wrath out upon them, because God is a right and just judge, his wrath and hate is poured upon people who deserve it, it's not the sin that God sends to hell, it's the sinner, but even when he hates our hearts and character, he still loves us as his creation so much that he gave up his only son to make a way for us to recive salvation and be changed forever, our sins are forgiven, and our hearts and character are changed so that we are no longer children of wrath, and so that that sin is no longer a part of us, so that we are no longer going to recive his wrath, because we have been changed and justified as righteous and sinless before him, this is a hard topic to explain, but all in all, what he is saying can be very misleading, because God still hates you as a sinner, because sin is not something that is outside of us, but rather something that is within our hearts and character as sinful people

    1 Corinthians 15:1-4

    Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand;
    2 By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain.
    3 For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures;
    4 And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:

    Jesus didn’t say anything about gay people. Simple seven words. If you believe jesus is god, which I don’t, but I understand those who do. There is not one mention of homosexuality in the gospels, I’ve read them through several times. Jesus was clearly not afraid to criticize his society, and homosexuality, which was prevalent in Roman occupied Judaea, was clearly a non issue for him. If you don’t believe it’s right, that’s ok. But mine your own business, that’s what jesus did

    How do you not see. “God loves gay people, he made them why wouldn’t he love them… also the way they are living their lives is wrong and they need to renounce their ways so they can get into heaven”. It’s all about getting in isn’t it? The us and them way of thinking. “They should do everything I do otherwise they aren’t going to get in”. I am amazed at how a group of people can care so much about something that doesn’t affect them in mind or body.

    God's answer: I hate homosexuality. NOT homosexuals. That's because I hate sin, not the sinner. I love the sinner that's why I want him to repent, be healed, renewed and be saved from eternal damnation.
    Proof: I have said it numerous times both in the Old and New Testament.

    God hates just about everything. Which is stupid considering he created everything. Not a very logical belief system really

    There are thousands of different denominations of Christianity, and for some reason everyone thinks that theirs is "more right" than the others. Even using the same book, people have so many different views, which is fine. The problem comes when people are self-righteous and judgemental about what others believe. Even if someone else is totally wrong in your eyes, does the Bible say to scream at them "your wrong, and the only way to save you is to tell you how wrong you are" or does it say to leave the judging up to God?

    The entire story of casting the first stone is about self-righteousness. If your idea of guiding someone is to tell them how wrong they are, 9 out of 10 times you guided them to as far away from a church as they can get. I don't think my views on God are right, and I think God knows that I am wrong about a few things. That's why I don't go around telling others they're going to hell, because that's not my choice to make.

    I am not religious but I do know for fact in the Bible, God said that a man laying with another man is an abomination. I dislike when Christians veer away from the exact words of the Bible… if you’re a Christain believe in the Bible 100% don’t pick and choose what fits you.

    Someone please help me! I just need some advice please because honestly I have no idea what to do and I’m like falling into a whole of depression.

    My boyfriend broke up with me because his family is very religious and his grandma told him he can’t have god in his life if he is gay. Now he told me we can’t be together because he needs to do what god needs him to do and that is to be single and not be gay to turn his life around. I know we had a connection and he felt something but what do I do to show him that he can be happy. He’s bi and have god in his life? Idk if he’s just scared because of what his family might think but I just feel so lost without him because I’ve never met anyone like him before and I don’t want to lose him but at the same time I don’t wanna force him to do something he’s not ready or comfortable with I just need help please !

    Please I don’t need any hate at all I’ve been dealing with this for almost a week now and I thought I was getting over it but I’m not and I don’t know who to reach out to or talk to because this is just something I’ve never dealt with before.

    I had a debate today with my mother about this same topic which lead me to tears. This made my lack of faith in religion grow even stronger. Don't get me wrong i believe in god, but why is it that their are people out their who feel that some people are impure just because they are different from them. We all have sin right?,why is it that one sin is bigger than the other. God hates the sin and not the sinner, so why do we hate homosexuals when god didn't say we should. Even thought i fail to get this message across to my mother i hope this touches someones heart. Let's love each other despite of their religion, sexuality or race.

    Quit making excuses for the horrible actions of christians toward homosexuals. You think you can just say, "oh, we don't hate homosexuals, we just hate their sexuality and want them to break up with the people they love and be alone for the rest of their lives. What's wrong with that? We're really loving people." You never see the damage you do.

    The Bible’s standard regarding homosexual acts is clear. God’s Word says:

     “You must not lie down with a male in the same way that you lie down with a woman.”—Leviticus 18:22.

     “Do not be misled. Those who are sexually immoral, idolaters, adulterers, men who submit to homosexual acts, men who practice homosexuality, thieves, greedy people, drunkards, revilers, and extortioners will not inherit God’s Kingdom.”—1 Corinthians 6:9, 10

    The Bible teaches that sex should be engaged in only by a male and a female who are married to each other.—Genesis 1:27, 28; Proverbs 5:18, 19.

    Although the Bible condemns homosexual acts, it does not encourage prejudice, hate crimes, or any other kind of mistreatment of homosexuals.—Romans 12:18.

    That is what true Christians believe, and they have a right to it.

    At the same time, God's Witnessess strive to “pursue peace with all people.” (Hebrews 12:14) While they reject homosexual acts, his people do not force their view on others, nor do they participate in homophobic hate crimes or rejoice when they hear of them. Christians strive to follow the Golden Rule by treating others the way they themselves would like to be treated although they do not agree with homosexuality.—Matthew 7:12
