Frank explains why equity of outcome is not only an unlikely outcome but a downright impossible goal that a large portion of the government believes to be worth pursuing. Because if two siblings given the same resources and privileges cannot even achieve the same level of success in life, how can an entire community? Answer – they can’t!

Equity of outcome is impossible, but equity of chances to achieve is possible

People being different is what makes us unique. Competitiveness will always remain, how you deal with it is the outcome.

Obviously but I doesn’t mean you shouldn’t strive to apply it where there is disparity and if it’s within your means. If your at a party and everybody is eating except for one individual you offer food that’s common courtesy you try to achieve equity based on the sense, since everybody is equal then everyone deserves to eat. Obviously not everyone is going to eat the same or the equal amount. We all have a communal Responsibility and I’m not using in a socialist sense but his response is a common attempt to allow this country to abdicate its obligations towards communal responsibility. We didn’t all cause slavery or racism but since we belong to a Country that did, so it’s our obligation and responsibility to attempt some form of equity. You can’t just say “ oh I don’t know what equity or equality is so I’m just not going to try” it’s better to try and fail then to excuse yourself or others. Especially considering this nations history of abdicating responsibility for its actions.

To demand equality of outcome shows an absolute ignorance of life. Abilities differ, desires differ, motivation differs, not to mention personalities. They want an "Ideal" that they've never thought through for one minute!

So for anyone who’s thought of it, what would an ideal system practically look like? I.e in heaven, obviously there won’t be suffering in heaven, but surely we can still fry and imagine what that perfect system could look like on earth

“But in your hearts sanctify Christ as Lord. Always be prepared to give a defense to everyone who asks you the reason for the hope that is in you. But respond with gentleness and respect”

If equal outcomes were real, the world would not be such a cursed place. God gave free will, which created multiple outcomes in how people choose. But due to this, it leads to one main outcome at the end of this time – judgement on what we choose to do with our free will! Did we choose responsibility or not???

its really only fair to have equal opportunity. you cant promise equal outcome because if theres not equal input, you wont get equal output

Just because two siblings grew up together doesn't mean they were brought up with the same resources or get the same treatment from the same parents, but I get it. I agree with the whole other factors thing, and the government control thing. God bless

“If you declare with your mouth “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved” (Romans 10:9). Now is the time to accept Jesus as your personal Lord and Savior. Obey His commands and repent of your sins because Jesus is coming back soon. Tomorrow isn’t promised.

    Two questions
    1. Who is arguing for equality of outcome? I have only heard of people wanting to achieve equality of opportunity
    2. Why is he talking about this for a 2nd video? Doesn't seem to really fit with the usual themes of this channel

They can come pretty darn close to equalizing that with communism. Which is what the government slowly wants to do!

People aren't the same. You can either give them equality (equal treatment) and allow them the liberty to live how they want or give them equity (equal outcome) and eliminate their freedom and person agency. You can't have both. Equality and equity are mutually exclusive.

"Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding." Proverbs 3:5
Trust in the all-knowing and all-powerful God. He works all things together for good for those who love Him and have been called according to His purpose. Romans 8:28
Hopefully this inspired you today. God bless.

I don't understand the practical point of making a distinction between these two things. The point we need to keep in mind is that the goal is helping people. If two people are stuck in two different holes, throwing each of them a 50 ft rope doesn't help the person that is 100 ft down. It doesn't matter that you gave everyone the same standard sized rope. One person needed more help. One person's still going to die in that hole.

Once upon a time in Georgia, there were two brothers named Jimmy and Billy. Jimmy graduated from the U.S. Naval Academy, commanded a submarine, and was elected Georgia's governor and later president of the U.S. Billy went to college but did not graduate, ran a gas station, ran for mayor and lost, and drank lots of beer.

First Christians were living in communes sharing their property. Of course this is a disaster, if you tries to force it on the whole society. But it makes sense, why Bible contains things like "give everything to the poor and follow me", "do not care about your clothes", etc. Because Christianity was at least partly based on this model.

If even Christians admit, that this model can't work even if "their God recommends it to them", then of course the equal outcome is not achievable goal. It would be a disaster.

It is simple common sense that if you force equal outcome that is socialism. Venezuela used to be the richest country in all of South America but through the administration of Maduro forcing socialism and equal outcomes he made households that had two vehicles give up one of their vehicles to a family that did not have a vehicle even though the initial two-vehicle family had several adults that needed the two vehicles and that's why Venezuela once the richest country in all of South America is now one of the poorest!

Oh my Cas! Can we just come to a compromise on our county's problems instead of saying, "It won't work because the left is doing things this way? Well, have you thought about focusing on our mutual goals? No! I'm tired of this. My cult did this all the time. They complained about the left wanting everyone to have access to the health care he needs, all the while complaining about how they can't afford the current healthcare because of the capitalistic government they voted for.

The example I like best is – do you want your pilot to be the person thats there to satisfy an 'equal outcome'. Probably not, equally opportunity and merit alone are sufficient for any given role..
