No, his videos are very focused and stay on the topic at hand. Mr. Koukl presents a topic (or an argument), and gives ideas (or support) behind his argument. I did not see any steamrolling by Koukl in this video, as it appears that a majority of others did not as well. I'm sorry, but your claim fails on that premise

I had an Facebook discussion where we were going back and forth on a certain issue. Then He made 5 posts in a row, dealing with he topic and expanding into other areas. I have a name for a person like that…a dump truck! The word count was 2,270 and in his mind I was supposed to respond to all of it. I told him I would work with the issue at hand and then later deal with his other objections; similar to what Greg was advocating for dealing with a steamroller. He got very angry with me.

@Yesica1993 They must have True faith. That should be self evident.
Yesica1993
@girtkaz Ah, they must be wanting us to take it on faith, eh?
girtkaz
@Yesica1993 They are so sure not to bother to share it with others 🙂
Yesica1993
@girtkaz If they're making such claims with complete certainty, I am sure their evidence is overwhelming and easily obtainable, probably off the top of their head.

@MayronR Thank you, yes this makes sense.
Sia Has Faith
=) THANK YOU I NEEDED THAT

@Yesica1993 do not expect a reference from a youtube atheist:-)

@MayonR Pick any one, they all have that characteristic, the one I thought of is one on abortion, but any will do, thus my point stands. I am promoting the viewing of all his videos by doing it this way. Better for him this way.

@zetox12 Too many arguments to make a concise point are not fallacious in the least if they are serving to do that. A steam roller is more likely to bring up many irrelevant points which would cause a rebuttal to stray if entertained. In fact it is extremely common of WLC to state that he is not going to entertain the irrelevant points because they are not part of the topic "of tonight's debate". I'm sure you can easily remember WLC actually saying this.

@Yesica1993 duh, watch his videos, I even state that in the comment. wake the F up and dont be so stupid the next time…..lol

My experience has been that in the overwhelming majority of cases, the person you're talking to has no interest in even hearing what you have to say. They just want to scream and make their point by saying, "But that's how I feel!" Facts have no bearing on the conversation.
It's extraordinarily frustrating.

Love it…"I don't know how serious you are" = cyberslap! hehe

This just an observation, that may seem simple to answer I just might be looking in the wrong places, and it inherently comes with the fact that I love William Lane Craig. What's the difference between a steamroller who comes up with many arguments and objections and WLC, when he debates atheists? He seems to have almost too many arguments to address in one debate, almost making it unfair?

I have seen a few of your videos, and I must say, you have that technique down pat. You are the king of the steamrollers, you go boy! 🙂
