I notice people take it to the extreme.

As we have been made " kings and priests unto God" we have a special relationship with our Lord. It goes without saying that the words we speak are important, but more importantly are our actions. Prayer are words that can be powerful to those that are praying, and to those who are being prayed for. The power of our prayers comes thru our relationship with our Lord. James ch 2 verse 15-16 basically is saying that words,,,by themselves, can be worthless and don't bring change, works bring change

Thanks Greg. Before I was a Christian, I had been involved in the occult. After conversion I participated in the Charismatic movement and noted that some of their ideas were more magic than Christian. Some Charismatics believed that properly applied faith was supposed to get you things that you wanted. That idea always seemed more like my old occult belief than the new way of thinking I found in the Bible and Christ.

I'm curious to know why someone dislikes this video. I would encourage, as I'm sure Mr. Koukl would agree, those of you who dislike something said to share why. If you're simply against christianity it won't help those of us who welcome deeper thinking to simply share your disinterest if you don't share your reasoning as well. Challenge us. We would benefit from knowing the opposing thoughts. Thanks.

Some, like Crefro Dollar, go as far to say that this is true because Christians are "little gods."
