Applying the Bible to your life requires obedience, and putting faith into action. When studying any book of the Bible, it is necessary to discover how the original audience applied it to their lives.

    Salvation Free for All
    ~~John 3:16-18~~
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.
18 He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.

    What is the Gospel?
    ~~1 Corinthians 15:3-4~~
    For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures;
4 And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:

    Romans Road to Salvation
    ~~Romans 3:10~~
As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one:
    ~~Romans 3:23~~
    For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;
    ~~Romans 6:23~~
For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.
    ~~Romans 5:8~~
But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.
    ~~Romans 10:9-10~~
That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead,
    thou shalt be saved.
10 For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.
    ~~Romans 10:13~~
For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.
    ~~Romans 5:1~~
Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ:
    ~~Romans 8:1~~
There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus,
who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.
    ~~Romans 8:38-39~~
For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come,
39 Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

    Salvation by Faith not Works
    ~~Ephesians 2:8-10~~
For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God :
9 Not of works, lest any man should boast.
10 For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.
    ~~Galatians 2:16~~
Knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law, but by the faith of Jesus Christ, even we have believed in Jesus Christ, that we might be justified by the faith of Christ, and not by the works of the law: for by the works of the law shall no flesh be justified.
    ~~John 6:47~~
Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me hath everlasting life.
    ~~Titus 3:5~~
    Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost;
    ~~Romans 4:1-8~~
What shall we say then that Abraham our father, as pertaining to the flesh, hath found?
2 For if Abraham were justified by works, he hath whereof to glory; but not before God.
3 For what saith the scripture? Abraham believed God, and it was counted unto him for righteousness.
4 Now to him that worketh is the reward not reckoned of grace, but of debt.
5 But to him that worketh not, but believeth on him that justifieth the ungodly, his faith is counted for righteousness .
6 Even as David also describeth the blessedness of the man, unto whom God imputeth righteousness without works ,
7 Saying, Blessed are they whose iniquities are forgiven, and whose sins are covered.
8 Blessed is the man to whom the Lord will not impute sin.
    ~~1 John 5:4~~
For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith.

    Eternal Security of the Believer
    ~~John 3:36~~
He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life…
    ~~John 10:27-29~~
My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me:
28 And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand .
29 My Father, which gave them me, is greater than all; and no man is able to pluck them out of my Father's hand.
    ~~Jude 24~~
Now unto him that is able to keep you from falling, and to present you faultless before the presence of his glory with exceeding joy,
    ~~1 John 5:13~~
These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life , and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God.
    ~~Ephesians 1:13~~
In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise,
    ~~John 3:16~~
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life .

Hi Jack ๐Ÿ™‚ I'm enjoying your series and take notes to help me along as well, often you use the word ''knucklehead'' its a kind word for someone who really is not so smart right? but I was once watching a documentary about the fellas who started Harley-Davidson ( it was a great documentary btw) and in it there was mention of a knucklehead, but this was referring to a certain bolt for the bike, always have to think of that program when you mention ''knucklehead'' ( a bit of useless information for you my ''friend'' .

Is there a Bible study on the "unforgiving servant," ?

The Parable of the Unforgiving Servant is a parable of Jesus which appears in the Gospel of Matthew. According to Matthew 18:21-35 it is important to forgive others as we are forgiven by God, as illustrated by the negative example of the unforgiving servant.

When Pastor Jack talks about it, it's as if he's looking down onto the Bible and can "see" all the people, talks and separations and he can describe what he's seeing…when I'm reading the Bible, I'm down in it and can't see the whole picture (I'm working on it). I want to be able to move "loosely" around the Word and see how things fit together…..it just still feels "thick" to me……I'm sure I'm not making sense, but I am trying to really KNOW the details, lessons, the Lord….the Bible completely.
