I have a question. You say that an evidence of prayer being answered by God is that, there are times when a request is answered in such a way that it would be intellectually dishonest to deny the fact that God answered it. I agree. However, I find this same reasoning with people of many faiths; when I was Mormon that was one of the top evidences that Mormonism was true. My question, Does answered prayer have any bearing on ones standing with God or does He answer prayers indiscriminately?
