Can Atheists Solve the Problem of “Free Will” by Redefining It?

The bible uses words where the foreknowledge is conditional. “If “ you do x i will not punish… “if” you call on me x”…. so it’s clear God knows all possible choices, and has a response for any of them… but people are free within boundaries to choose, to which God then responds. To bring about his ends, God intervenes in history. This whole line of thought of a linear single path is what throws people. Think multi path, with God aware of every possible paths conclusion, and divine intervention. So does God know if you will choose a or b? He knows a and b are the two options and has a response to either.

All knowing and creator off all. Means we would be a robot. God is an imaginary friend to so many people. Crazy people still believe. Saying god doesn’t control the action of the player, who cares? He created everything, he would know how his creation would effect every single person. Example: god creates a chipmunk and after generation after generation of making babies, a Chipmunk called Sam is born. Chipmunk Sam get rabies and bites your mother and your mother dies. This makes you angry at god and you decide never to trust him. This interaction with a chipmunk called Sam would be one of the billions of interactions with gods creations you would experience. All of those interactions would have been created by an all knowing god. So if an all knowing creator go is real, sorry you don’t have free will.

What people don't understand about predestination and free will is that "Foreknowledge" is not "Causation". Just because God "knows" the future and everything you will do, does not mean He is forcing you to do it. Knowing that it's going to rain tomorrow because a hurricane hit the seaboard and you live close by and previous experience tells you it always rains where you are afterward, doesn't mean you are the one causing it to rain. I may know that in 3 hours it's going to be midnight, but I'm not the one making it be midnight. As for God preordaining things to happen in creation, I believe what this is/was, is that God had an infinite number of universes, infinite number of people, and thus an infinite number of ways and plans and things could turn out. The ONE He chose, is the preordained part. Everything, and everyone, is here because God chose them to be here. He knew the plan, He knew how it would turn out, He was able to make all things turn out for good to the ones who would love Him. You might not like it, but this isn't your universe. You can be stubborn and rebellious in anger about it and hate God, WILLINGLY, or you can humble yourself and submit yourself to His will, and by doing so, reap His love and grace and mercy and eternal life and all that is good in the universe.

I wish he would deny me my free will, I would rather die than transgress my Savior and God.
