If the Pharaoh didn't like Israel, why did he keep them around? I mean sure he kept them as slaves but why not just tell them to leave? If you feel they are a threat, ditch them!

There were 294 years between Joseph's birth and Moses's deah. There were 64 years between Moses's birth and Joseph's death. There were 174 years between the birth of the two men. There were 184 years between the deaths of the two men. Stole this from quora

The one thing I'd add to this excellent summary is that God didn't harden Pharaoh's heart. That was all Pharaoh. For one thing, God does not make people sin. For another, modern revelation through Joseph Smith lets us know that Pharaoh hardened his own heart. Similar things can be seen anytime The Bible's mistranslated says "The LORD repented of the evil…" For example, I was reaching Samuel 15 today, and in that chapter, we see two instances of the LORD repenting, along with Samuel the prophet stating that "the Strength of Israel (the LORD) will not lie nor repent; for he is not a man, that he should repent".

Right eternal life is the Blessing. And by sin and ignorance of mans creative power he manifests death and pain. If people truly understood the message of Jesus, churches would not couple with graveyards. Eternal life is not death. Jesus proved this. This is the way. Death is the great mistake. You reap what you sow. Give and you cannot help but to receive in increased measure. This is why unconditional love is vital. Treat your neighbor as yourself. And maybe, one day, humanity as a whole will see the truth that sets you free. Free from death, pain, and sorrow. Eternal life is lived outside the grave in your body. Not rotting in the earth. If you lose your body you will have to come back and take up another. Reincarnation has been proven countless times. Seek the truth, not conformity among your peers

This is so helpful to understand it all. It's been 2 weeks approximately that I'm reading the Bible (for real this time) and I couldn't have done it without people like you that take their time to make sure us, lost lambs, understand the word of God. Thank you! ❤️

You say Pharoah was evil when he ordered that innocent children were killed. Didn't God do the same to those that didn't have the blood over their door? Weren't the children of Pharoah's people just as innocent?

Can someone help me understand why God killed all the firstborn? From what I gather from google, the firstborns are very important. Why kill them if they are so important?

It hurts my heart you have HARDEN YOU HEART to have glean over the part, that the mixed Multitudes becomes Yisrael, Numbers 15 15 16…
For this you miss the most important part of scriptures for a gentile believer, , Like RUTH you are to become grafted into the Family, a vine! Becoming Yisrael one of YAH/Gods children, read the complete ruling of the Jerusalem Council, stop 4 things, then go on to learn Mosses on the Sabbiths…
For this is 100% of YAHshuas teachings!

Praise YAH firmly Worship YAH humbley Give thanks for the Messiah Halalu-YAH !

    Explain This verse from Exodus:

“It will be a sign between me and the Israelites forever, for in six days the LORD made the heavens and the earth, and on the seventh day he rested and was refreshed.’”

What kind of weak God do you worship that needs to rest and feel fresh afterwords.

If you are like me when I am tired I am not even capable of driving properly and hence I rest and feel refreshed . But I am human .

Contrast that to the Quran in which the God of Abraham clearly points out that he neither sleeps nor slumber approaches him.

Why no mention of the foreshadowing between the lamb and the blood to save with Jesus (unblemished as the lamb) and His blood to save us? Passover was not meant for just the Jewish people but for all of God's people.
