Video correction: At 4:18 we wrote Luke 21:10 but the reference is actually Luke 21:20.

Beautifully explained. I’ve always said Luke was one of my favorite chapters in the Bible. This made me love it even more.

Can we have a pdf copy of the final image summarizing every book's story? I tried to screenshot it but it gets blurry. Thank you so much!

Edit: You can go to the website and download posters (whole image of summary) with higher quality

Omg I just realized his crucification was on the anniversary from exact day of Passover of the Lamb on the Israelites doors before their liberation we always knew it was the precursor of “Behold the Perfect Lamb of God who took away the sins of the world” 😳

These videos are really great to watch. It gives a synopsis of the Word. Reading the Word and coupling it with commentary and these videos make a huge difference. It helps me to better understand God’s Word and what He wants His people to know about Him and how He wants us to live this life. So thank you for using your gifts and talents for God’s Kingdom 🙏🏽

The verse did not originally say hate but something similiar to " is not willing to forsake". Jesus said before he comes not to bring peace but a sword since the truth divides people and the lord was coming for those who truly desire the truth and truly seeks to follow him. Also you have to read the word with more diligence withe ever since satan has gone out to chnage some of the bible verses to either cause disuunity or rodicule of God's world to antogonize the belivers. Many call this the mandela effect associating it with amos 8:11 or Daniel 7:25 whcih even one of the words chnaged from "vex" to "weary". A famous exmaple isaiah 11:6, whcih chnaged from "lion" to "wolf".

4:09 It's easy to insert predictions of events when you're writing after the predicted events. Jerusalem was destroyed in the year 70, and scholarship places the composition of Luke around 80 to as late as 110.

Ohhhhh! I NEVER understood the parable of the prodigal son like this before: as a contrast and comparision between the needy and neglected, but humble, repentant followers versus the seemingly faithful, but haughty and self-righteous, between the poor and the religious leaders. Wow. What a revelation! Thank you.

I love these videos but I think there are some things to be corrected. First, Jesus didn't want to establish a "New Israel." He wanted to show the Jewish people that the way they were living wasn't what God wanted and that He was the Messiah prophesied about in the Old Testament that would save them from sin. It was Jewish scholars at the time expecting a war hero instead of someone to save their eternity. Also, Jesus never was about freedom from the Roman empire, He came to save people from sin. The anger He showed in the temple was not an overthrow of the sacrificial system, but He was angry because people were using God's house as a marketplace and not for worship. Anyway, great video, but just a couple of things I noticed.

I believe that Luke 23:43 is the most misquoted verse in the Bible. The Greeks didn't use commas, so it was up to interpretors to decide. "I say into you, Today you will be with me in Paradise".Well, we know Yeshua did not go to paradise that day, he laid in his tomb 3 days. Do wouldn't "I say into you Today, You will be with me in Paradise", saying I say into you Today. Makes more sense to me.

The thief on the cross said "remember me". So did Dan say to the King's cupbearer in prison. I wonder if we should see something of a connection?

In hindsight by my view, it must've been childishly easy for God to purpose the plan of salvation through the ordinances of His laws at the hand and accusations of evil given that evil's stance is only in pride and it purposes destruction by it in self righteousness. God trusted that evil would be evil and in being evil was the lack of wisdom to perceive God's stratagem even though the plan was given in plain sight through prophecies "but they stumbled at the stumbling block." God didn't even need to break a mental sweat "the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world" and again "As I have sworn in my wrath, if they shall enter into my rest: although the works were finished from the foundation of the world." Evil lacks greater intelligence.

Why do you keep adding he brings the sacrifice system to a halt? You say this in John as well. Later on he comes into town ridding on a donkey at same time sheep are going up to temple for passover?

Video correction. at 5:28 it says that Jesus dies after this response. The video makes it sound like this was the last thing Jesus said, and yet it was not. Luke records Jesus "father into your hands I commit my Spirit" as being the last words spoken by Jesus.
Just a small critic, the video is great and your work is a blessing.

Arguably the point (or even at points prior) where the original teaching from him became overshadowed by some "majesty". The latter books would only become the common day FOX/CNN's of that majesty and potentially corrupt his personage.

Where's the theme of faith, of healing? Why are people attracted to Jesus if not his miracles? From this presentation I would think that the creators of this document were atheists.

My favorite Gospel is the Gospel of John, but my 2nd favorite is the Gospel of Luke. The reason is Luke went on a research mission, finding the various witnesses of the resurrection of Jesus, primarily the apostles, and took a lot of notes. Being a doctor research came natural to him, although historical research was a little different it gives us a remarkable view of Jesus, one the other 3 Gospels don't fully give. In face all four Gospels were written uniquely. Matthew was written to the Jews, Mark was written to the Gentiles. Luke portrayed Jesus as the Son of Man, but John portrayed Jesus as the Son of God. Each Gospel is useful if read in its context, and combined with the other Gospels can really bring things to life.

It’s so great to see comments from teenagers here seeking meanings and to be led by the teachings from the BIble. Thank you for this service and as an adult who’s re-reading the Bible for Lent this year, these videos have proven to be little treasures. Luke’s is my favourite of all gospels so I thought I’d leave my comment here. Thanks again and God Bless to all! 💜
