It's about sex and passion and desire for each other. It was almost removed from the bible like 6 other books just like it. Wish people would be more honest about this books symbolism of sexual desires and relationships between men and women. This is another reason why our people are so screwed up and sexually frustrated today. Love the channel, love the art work , Yahweh and Yeshua Bless you. Ase Aloha Amen Shalom

It's impossible that god has dedicated a book that just includes sexual and erotic texts and also includes unnecessary details like what's mentioned in 8:8 about a little sister that has no breasts. It makes you feel too embarrassed to read these things especially in public.

Second interpretation is correct. This book about Christ and His loved one. This is song about divine romance between Christ and me or you individually. When love between Christ and you became strong, He bring you to the

The gospel by which we're SAVED. 1 Corinthians 15:1-4 (KJV)(1) Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the GOSPEL (good news) which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand; (2) By which also ye are SAVED, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain (self). (3) For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that CHRIST DIED for our SINS according to the scriptures; (4) And that he was BURIED, and that he ROSE AGAIN the THIRD DAY according to the scriptures.

READ, UNDERSTAND, BELIEVE (from the heart by FAITH) and be SAVED

What you "Christians" understand about the words of Shaul (Paul) was set by the founders of the Vatican.
Shaul was teaching Torah and Prophets.
God treats Israel and more specifically Jerusalem as His wife.
So basically, the first two interpretations are equal.

Many of the old writers see this as Christ and his bride. Many modern liberals turn this book into primarily a love story of a man and a woman. If you want a more spiritual perspective, read Matthew Henry’s commentary on this Book. Remember that the Bible is not a textbook as many modern liberals seem to see it. Poetry and word studies can be interesting, but the Bible is God’s inspired word and we should always primarily look for the spiritual meaning and application for us today. Pay less attention to modern biblical scholars. If you want the better commentaries look to the older commentators who clearly demonstrate a much deeper spiritual understanding like Matthew Henry, Gill etc.

Solomon had so many wives later in his life not during the time of this book. I believe he did write the songs of Solomon as he wrote proverbs or at least some of them if I’m correct. Solomon would write these proverbs and then comes a book with his name on it written during his lifetime and all of a sudden he’s not the writer? Doesn’t make sense to me. Plus the video doesn’t even say who the author is or gives a substitute name or hint as to who the real writer is if it isn’t Solomon. Is just says that Solomon isn’t the writer and then just leaves it at that. No explanation or argument/proof as to who the real write is if not Solomon.Solomon came into being a king at his mid to late teens and experienced this love perhaps in his twenties though his exact age is unknown. My reasoning for belief that he did write the book is the same way David wrote Psalms. Why would all of sudden Solomon not write in the first or third person, but then say that Solomon didn’t write the book conflicts with writing of the time. You can basically say the same thing about Psalms in that David didn’t write it either.

This video is largely based on speculation or opinion which is encouraged of course since the Bible is open to so many ways of interpretation. However if you read on into 1st Kings in verse 4 it talks about when he was old of age when his many wives turned his heart into other god’s. I’m in no way trying to insult this video as it’s very well made. I’m just stating my opinion. Definitely open to discussing and debate though

The song of songs actually only can be understood in Hebrew (both language n philosophy), people translated it for bible and forever be mistaken as erotic or human love poetry. It's actually metaphor for human and God relationship as "lover"

This is a good book to read when you have a hard time accepting God’s love. I think some of us often times can embrace God’s holiness and authority and stray from embracing His love because we FEAR that we’d lack reverence or we fear that we may over-romanticize things but if this doesn’t debunk that harsh religious attitude, IDK WHAT WILL 🌞

The first Dark night of the senses and second Dark night of the soul along the road to the unitive phase and then perfection as described by St John of the Cross, St Teresa of Avila, St Catherine of Siena and many others are key inspired underlying themes in the Song of Songs.

Song of Solomon has nothing to do w/ sexual love between husband and wife but it is an intimate love relationship between you and Jesus Christ your Bridegroom. Without this Bridal relationship you cannot be raptured.

Just wanting to know what other people think about this… a friend and I started reading it recently. Our tentative conclusion is that there's a love triangle going on. The woman is a concubine of Solomon but falls in love with some shepherd dude! When we thought of this, it actually resonated really well when we read the story. It seems like maybe sometimes the woman is chatting with her concubine friends, and the friends are discouraging her from seeing the shepherd. Just wondering if anyone else sees this…
