What’s your opinion on porn? Harmless and normal? Or Corrosive and dangerous? From all angles; moral, legislative and personally, what are your experiences with it?

People can not convince me that porn is addictive, I am still developing my opinion on the rank of HOW addictive, since I don't believe it's anywhere near crack/heroin as some people say, but I could see it being as hard to kick as some of them in different areas.

Porn isnt the worst thing ever if you dont have it take over your life. It shouldn't be considered an addiction if you don't do it every day.

I think personally it is bad… it reinforces the attitude to be shy and to exclude the searchof relationships when your phone can provide a video… probably it varies from individual however

its not just porn, its masturbation. The amount of dopamine you get from an orgasm is more addictive then heroine…

I hope this video is still getting regular views because it is so important. I’ve seen a lot of people in the comments talking about their addiction and how addictive it is, and if you’re one of those people reading this who is struggling with an addiction I want to tell you that there IS HOPE. This is not something that you will be subject to the rest of your life. You can have complete and total freedom from it and I promise you life on the other side is so much healthier. Shame is toxic and destructive, but you don’t have to feel that shame and frustration. I want to encourage you to seek help and find someone you can confide in, practice self control, and find peace in knowing that you CAN beat this thing.

Ted Bundy (Notorious Serial Killer) the night before his death in January 23rd 1989:

“I’ve lived in prison a long time now. I’ve met a lot of men who were motivated to commit violence just like me. And without exception, every one of them was deeply involved in pornography. Without question, without exception, deeply influenced and consumed by addiction to pornography.”

OK, some truth here… I watch porn, I enjoy it, and I see there are some definite negatives to it. I am not ashamed, I will continue to watch porn simply because I am single, I don't want a relationship because women are hypergamists at best, and feminist at worst and the system is rigged against men and I like my stuff, I want to be free from that troubles.

Why do people, who are in relationships, watch porn? I watch it as a substitute for the lack of sexual activity in my life. If I was in a good relationship I’d just have that sexual activity with my partner. Fuck watching it through a screen when I can do it in real life.

Great topic. Very important to address the objectification of women.

Why is even porn a left and right issue. This isn’t political AT ALL. People should take responsibility for themselves. This is an individual problem. Jeez the Right politicizes EVERYTHING.

Just like how guns aren’t to blame for gun deaths, people are, porn isn’t to blame for all these problems, people are.

I would rather have to physical contact with someone giving one of my Love languages is touch. But being single how else are we supposed to get that release in a healthy manner?

It you want to watch porn you will find a way to justify it, plain and simple. When you feel guilt about something you do that you know is wrong, you can either learn from those feeling or bury them. If you bury them it gets easier to do each time you do it and with less and less guilt. This applies to porn, theft and crimes of all types….period.

I've struggled with porn ever since being exposed as a kid. It's been a factor in failed relationships, its effects are really, really life doesn't compare to hyper stimulation.. Glad you guys are broaching this issue, cheers.

I feel it’s harmful. Gives a false expectation of women and men. It becomes addictive. Promotes infidelity. Among many reasons. And is to easy for young children to watch and become confused and scared for life.

One thing that's really interesting is the concept of sexual transmutation. Basically it means that by not having sex your sexual energy gets channeled into other areas of life and it is SO TRUE. Try not masturbating for a couple of weeks and you will be shocked how much better and energized you feel. Sex is hugely powerful and that's why it makes sense to use that energy where it is best suited to make you close to your partner (and that happiness of a marriage positively impacts a whole family) or to create life.
