    i agree with this video. Whilst I certainly hold to a traditional reformed view this text isn't so much about that. Often when people hold rightly and zealously to a particular doctrine they feel the need to shoehorn it into every text to justify their position.

    When you said that the story is mainly about how people receive it and that it is about how open people are to the gospel it confused me as to how that fits into the reformed viewpoint. They will only be open to it and receive it if they were predestined or chosen to do so right? I really enjoy all the apologists from stand to reason.
