“It was best for their baby girl”

So is suicide or murder “best” for someone if a family member decides it?

Question, why don't men have a right to stop an abortion?

When RBG was “alive”. I would have required that all Supreme Court justices be fingerprinted if I had a case before the court.

None of the "debunked" arguments presented here defeat the real arguments for why women have the right to an abortion and ALL people should have the right to whatever medical procedures they wish to have and doctors should be allowed to perform such procedures without worrying about government/external agencies interfering.
That bundle of cells becomes a person when it is capable of living outside of the host body without heroic medical interventions required. And ONCE you are a person that is born, you then have the rights we give to the born (which defeats the thinking that if you become disabled after birth and need heroic medical interventions to continue living that you might not be a person any more.)
The best arguments for abortion are the rights of women to…
1.) control which entities are in their own body (it is why they can complain about rape). No entity has a right to live within the body of another against the will of that other.
2.) not be enslaved. We have an amendment that prohibits slavery and one cannot enslave a women to her fetus or the state and force her to labor against her will.
3.) self defense. Given the levels of harm that come from pregnancy, it is quite legitimate for a woman to kill those harming or threatening that level of harm. If you approve of self defense, then you should approve of abortion.
4.) there is no justification that can be made that could argue to force women to bring lives into the world that could have medical issues and create additional burdens for society or the people responsible for creating that fetus.
The right can make their arguments against abortion as it works now when they come up with a way to have abortions that extract a fetus, alive, at the same cost, time in pregnancy, and safety of the abortions we have now, as well as providing for a host womb and a way to attach the fetus to that host womb. Further, they must take on all the burdens that life will create for society. And when we really want to talk about the nature of evil, when you demand that others suffer pain or be enslaved in order to possibly bring new life into this world, THAT is far more evil than allowing women and families to have control over their own bodies and to decide which children they will bring into this world. There are many birth defects and issues that are more damaging to this world, and thus evil, than to end that potential birth before it gets too far. Until the right has demonstrated that it will take care of all the unwanted kids already on this globe, they have ZERO moral authority to demand that people bring more unwanted life into the globe.

Damn this comment section is the definition of a filter bubble. Probably a consequence of Steven Crowder constantly virtue signaling to the right. He is a magnet but I wonder how intentional it is.

12:20 "It's a basic right that nobody can use your body without your consent." Fair point, but if your talking about a baby… So, you accidentally get pregnant, but don't want a baby. Is the baby violating your basic right by taking energy and resources from your body? If the baby gets to be 3 months old are they technically squatting? In that instance, would you have to get a court ordered eviction notice for the baby before you are legally allowed to abort?

They complain about the “access of birth control” yet seem to push for abortion more in the courts. Maybe push for more education on birth control so that people who DON’T WANT TO BE PREGNANT WON’T BE PREGNANT!!! That is how we can make abortion “safe and rare”. And for those who are raped, maybe let’s focus on safety and place an emphasis on training women in self defense/equipping women for safety or making women feel safe asking for help if they have been raped.

Nazis analogies aren’t usually about comparing the ask of somebody else to what the Nazis did. It’s about saying look how your logic is the same exact logic as what Hitler did. Analogies typically compare something that’s the same thing but more drastic, again has the same reasoning and logic. If you support abortion you not only are literally supporting something is evil as Nazis, you are statistically 10 times worse because you are supporting policy that Has directly end of the human lives a 10 times the amount of people to Nazis killed in concentration camps… If you support what Elizabeth Warren said, claiming they had an abortion in the third trimester and did what’s best for their baby girl and a boarded her, if you support that or engage in that, as a Christian I don’t believe in eternal burning hell because the Bible is clear that doesn’t exist but you absolutely deserve that

I'm italian and a midwife, we have a law that allows abortion in the first trimester for everyone but you need to do psychological expertise and an interview with a midwife that will explain everything you can choose. After that you have a period of 2 weeks to think about it in which you cannot do the procedure, and then if you're convinced you can pursue the abortion. (I need to say that in two years of hospital working i never seen one)
We have also a law that allows abortion up untill 22+3 weeks just if the baby has a life-threatening condition (like trisomy 18 or 13) and those are the ones I've seen in reality, neither the mom or the dad wanted to get an abortion but the baby won't live outside of the womb, or will live in extreme pain all his/her short life.
Also there's a law that allows doctors or midwifes that are pro-life to refuse to do the procedure if they want to and private hospitals can refuse too.

What's so wrong if someone wants to have an abortion shouldn't they be allowed to what's so wrong even though it is another person in there body it is there choice wether or not the can kill their baby as having the baby could have caused problems or they may not be ready why can't they just kill it. I'm kind of neutral on this in a way because it sucks that millions of people are killed and they never even got a shot at life but on the other hand if the woman wants to kill there baby it is there body so they have a say in what happens regardless of the other person living in there.

You just got to realize life is not perfect and we all have ails. We get past it and adapt, I had cancer at 8 years old, I survived and am greatful to be alive, no matter what life throws at a person, we all deserve a chance and none of us should have the right to stop life.

I can't understand how people could think murdering a baby before it is born is not murder.
You really have to be blind as hell not to believe that..
thank God Alabama did what they did and may every other state do it. We've been murdering babies for years.
There's plenty of ways not to get pregnant and have an unwanted child. there's all kinds of birth control there's oh my god let's try something traditional not having sex before marriage that would be good.
But if you can't live with that at least he's birth control. If you're going to be well immoral and you don't want to have a child then he's birth control for male and female partners.
before you start ragging about how people get pregnant due to incest or child abuse that's not true.
The amount of births that are born out of those things is very low. Usually people just use abortion as birth control which is evil

The largest illogical fallacy of the left is the use of ad hominem attacks against the right. Instead of attacking the arguments we hold they make fun of us rather than rebuttal and refute is because they aren’t capable of arguing against logic because it’s logic. As someone with obvious issues they don’t like logic because it forces the correction of bad behavior and no one likes to behave nor grow up on the left which is why radical ideas are so alluring to them. That’s why to us it’s a no brainer on a lot of these issue because it makes sense to not let the government control you due to past examples it makes sense to dispose socialism due to past examples we on the right know these things and seek to hold true to them meanwhile the left is the rebelous teen that not only wants to reject sound doctrine but they want push the line as far as possible prime example would be abortion and if they get what they want guns will be next we can’t let that happen.

Ya know, if women think it’s their right to “terminate a pregnancy” at will, then a man should have the right to “terminate the pregnancy” per se on HIS end ( ie. Cut ties with the pregnancy and absolve himself of responsibility to care for the child… I’m sorry, FETUS) If a woman can say “I am just not ready to have a child. It would ruin my life and dash my dreams and aspirations” and then go kill it and eliminate all responsibility, then a man (who doesn’t have it attached to his body but very much so will be attached to it financially) should be able to say “I’m just not ready to be a dad and having a child will ruin my life and dash my dreams and aspirations” and then (since he can’t go kill it) cut off all ties to it and his responsibility for it. Ridiculous. Take responsibility people!!! (Both MEN and WOMEN)

This is an old video, I know… I'm re watching it among others to think of a valid argument or formulate a stronger oppinon. I'm definitely more pro-life leaning, for sure against late term abortions (past about the 12-18 week mark) but I wonder what laws should be fixed in my already liberal as they come state of Oregon for women carrying already dead babies (no heart beat) so that they can get a csection or induced delivery to make the suffering of carrying a dead (wanted) baby shorter. Right now I know of a woman 32 weeks gestation who is being forced to wait until her already scheduled induction date to deliver her dead child. I think a D&E is overall more horrific and dosent offer the same closure as a still birth but choosing to carry a dead baby to term is arguably more horrific for much longer of a period. Apparently abortion laws are prohibiting her from a D&E or "abortion". This is the type of tragic, complex case needs to be covered by someone.

I think abortion is wrong all around… But why is it legal so late in the pregnancy when after the first trimester if you accidentally hit a woman (3 months pregnant) you can be charged for attempted murder…?
