Atheists and skeptics usually try to discredit the New Testament by indicating that it was written hundreds after the events. Is there evidence for this claim?

I hate when people claim that when Jesus is predicting the destruction of the temple, he is really predicting the end of the world/rapture. Not true in the slightest

Thank you for this informative video. I would love more information on this creed you speak of. Who wrote it? Could you point to one scholar?

The problem is there is no way to prove if they are eye witness accounts or if they were made up. Even if they are eye witness accounts, and nobody could possibly know if they were, these people could easily have made it up. I still have never heard any evidence or proof or any reasonable reason to firmly believe that anything in the nt is true….and I really don't think I ever will. The only proof to jesus and the nt being true would have to come from the old testament. It would have to have been prophesised there and nowhere does it say anything about a messiah doing what he did. There's no mention of any miracles or resurrection or second coming. It's all made up. The only thing the bible says about miracles being done is in Deuteronomy where it says if someone comes and starts doing miracles, signs and wonders and tells you to follow another path, DON'T BELIEVE HIM. That's the only place I could find jesus in the bible.

I’m not sharp enough to defend our Faith real well, but I am smart enough to dare non believers to watch Franks Videos, one of my non believing customers told me after watching the old Jersey boys videos he was starting to change his mind, he’s a very sharp Muslim man from Pakistan, I believe God Loves him as much as he did me, Frank also has a awesome Radio Show I listen to every Saturday morning, AFR I think is the network. Let’s not discard anyone, Hell is awful and lasts a very very very long time.

New Testament OR super early, OR super late at 300 A.D.. So, OR it is true, OR it is fake by church of Nicea. It CAN'T be later than 70 not only becasue of the temple, but also because these writers would be TOO OLD – they are around same age as Jesus. So Jesus died and raised fromt he dead at 33 A.D., and SHORTER than 70 A.D. almost all New Testament was written.

People might say that it isn't making christianity true – by the laws of logic yeas, but it has to be correct to be true anyway. Why then it's so important to make it seems like it was written later? Why it works only one way around? If it's early – it ain't making christianity true, if it's late – it DOES makes christianity false. What is this? Inconsistency carnival?

Shows much bias and pre-justice – EXACTLY what we expect form the book of God that shows our true selves, just like Jesus predicts destruction of the temple (wich shows His supernatural abilities in HISTORICAL action), becuase also we see no corruption and changes nowhere in the Bible.

UPD: i like how there is NO atheist comments here – they just don't have anything to say of this, becuase it is factual evidence, of Jesus's prediction for example. Only 38 comments in 3 years (now is 07.05.2019), and most of them from one sceptic who said that it iss till time to be corrupted, but first: why for? Second: they were all TORTURED to death, will you die for a lie if you knew you are lying? When atheist see a problem they don't deal with it – they pretend it's not there, it's their DELUSION, if you lie to protect your truth – you have no truth then.

The holy spirit revealed this truth while I was in college, but prideful minded professors give the impression that if you doubt what their class text says your ideas are not valid.

Even if the gospels were written only 20 years after the death of Christ, it's plenty of time for a story to be embellished. If a story has no contemporaneous baseline and there is value in exaggerating the truth, it WILL be embellished. Hence the Gospels, hence Christianity.

These dates seem more acceptable to modern scholarship. See Wikipedia for references.

    Mark: c. 68–73, c. 65–70.
    Matthew: c. 70–100, c. 80–85.
    Luke: c. 80–100, with most arguing for somewhere around 85, c. 80–85.
John: c. 90–100, c. 90–110, The majority view is that it was written in stages, so there was no one date of composition.

Great job, Frank. Sadly, atheists aren't buying it…for the same reason a thief doesn't want to find a cop.
"Light has come into the world, and men loved the darkness rather than the Light, for their deeds were evil. For everyone who does evil hates the Light, and does not come to the Light for fear that his deeds will be exposed. But he who practices the truth comes to the Light, so that his deeds may be manifested as having been wrought in God."

What if I wrote some gospel about a guy that lived in the 1950ties and that predicted that the WTC would be destroyed. Would that guy be a prophet or would I be just someone who read the news carefully?
