The same way you would confront an adulterer or people who have sex outside of marriage

"What do I say to my gay friends who I want to become Christian?"

    A. You shut up
    B. You start caring about what they want for their lives, not what you want. Or you can just stop being their friend if you're too much of a bigot to mind your own godsdamned business
    C. Frank Turek sexually molests pumpkins and I have as much proof to back that claim as he does that Jesus was a God.

What if our close friends know that homosexual behaviour is not acceptable in Christianity, so they stay well away so as to be "inclusive and GENUINELY loving and accepting"?….

Christ taught his Disciples how to cast out demons and demonic entities of deviate desires. CHRIST taught his Disciples how to pray in secret because of the Fallen angels especially Satan and Christ told them in the closet with the doors closed and ask of Our Heavenly Father in secret.

Well for one why is homosexuality wrong? Two we all don’t need a savior and some people just want one.

It should be a sin to ignore the scripture you don't like while carefully selecting scripture that hides personal bigotry. Lots of rules. Where's the love?

Sin alone, doesn't send one to hell. Not accepting Jesus as Lord and Savior (not being born again) does. Unrepentant sin can send a person to hell, which is basically the same as not being born-again.

"If you lose faith in love, you cannot believe in God. If you fall in love with a man, and your heart knows it's true, then through divine will, God has spoken to you. Christianity is imperfect but God is not. If you walk into church and the entire congregation rejects you, I will stand beside you."

Compassion is wiser than words, and those who adhere to the ancient principles of respectfulness are, themselves, closer to God. With that compassion, all who follow in kinship and friendship are made more powerful by the same love granted to all, in all its forms. If you deny them that God given love, then you have failed, and any conviction you hold in that prohibition is a denial of our common humanity.

I think any honest Christian should just tell their friend "This isn't a nice group of people just walk away"
As for Franks comment and changing the question, treat it like any other sin? What is that the sin of being born different?

What do you say to gay friends you want to become Christians?  Simple.  You say your part of a homophobic religion that advocates for bigoted and outdated beliefs all in the name of a god that you can't demonstrate exists.  That's the long and short of it.

The response was good but I was also thinking about the Gay friend or family member that says they are also a Christian. The "Gay Christian" theology is now being embraced by many churches willing to bend the knee to societies demand of acceptance no matter what the scriptures truly say. I find it difficult when called out by this community to not make them upset when I speak the truth from the scriptures. This leads to losing the relationship mostly because of their unwillingness to accept that I have a differing belief or understanding of what the word truly says- that is enraging & unacceptable to them. God bless, thanks.

Rather than confront a homosexual about that particular sin just walk them thru the 10 Commandments.

When you get to the 7th make sure to cross reference it to JESUS sermon on the mount where He magnifies it. It'll leave them thinking:

"whuut?… by simply lusting I have already committed aldutery?"

Doing this will also help them realize GOD's holy infinite position of authority.

Romans 5:8 God demonstrated His love for us in that while we were still sinners Christ died for us. Jesus didn’t wait for sinners to have a change of heart then hang out with them. He hung out with them in order to change their hearts. We won’t change our sinful ways because of what someone said or threatened. We change because of the work of the Holy Spirit. Therefore we might as well just love people and encourage them on their path.

    Yeah ….. I don't know about that.
I understand why Christians are so eager to find a way to avoid being labeled as 'haters'. It hits us where many of us are the most sensitive (our reputation as a nice person) and we'll do anything to cover our butts. And Frank's suggestion sounds so reasonable, doesn't it? All sin sends one to hell so don't talk about that one controversial sin that makes people so angry; talk about greed, lying or anything else! I even know street preachers who try that approach at Gay Pride festivals.
Trouble is, if you don't address the particular sin that a person is infatuated with, the one with which they resolutely defy God every single day, I have a feeling they will walk away feeling no pressure to repent of that particular thing. Only smaller sins that they may not have even done purposefully, and for which they feel no real regret. How can the Gospel message make sense to a person like that? Is partial repentance efficacious to salvation?
I know Frank isn't saying we leave the homosexuality permanently unmentioned. But I really wonder if he would say the same thing if we encountered a sinner who had a different sin, say, wife beating or rape or human trafficking? Can you imagine an evangelist telling such a person they had to repent of gluttony or vanity or whatever, while leaving the aforementioned sins … unmentioned until later?

But being homosexual is disobeying God's law, yes just like the other laws, but if we don't accept it and change we aren't going to be with our father in heaven

You pandered to her. That particular sin is an abomination that a entire civilization was wiped out for. Yes, all sin is sin, but you needed to tell her the truth.

We are all sinners regardless of what you think. The difference comes with those who have been delivered from the penalty of sin and those who haven't. There are Christians that have been delivered that still struggle with sin. Most of us still struggle with sin. As a Christian you should pray and have faith that God will deliver from sin. The flesh is very powerful and tempting. The whole issue with sin is that it leads you away from God and keeps you from doing the work of the kingdom.
