How to Be a One Dollar Apologist in the Second Half of Life

In a digital visual age, have books become obsolete? Is there still any role for books in influencing culture, or has video taken over as the most effective way to reach the culture and the world? If you’re interested in reaching the world for Jesus, which is more effective, books or videos? J. Warner answers these questions in this episode of the NRBtv Cold-Case Christianity Broadcast.

I really appreciate your creating this video and having this discussion. This is what Christian apologists should be talking about: strategy. We've been failing for centuries now in that all-important area.

Mr. Wallace I highly recommend you read the three self-help books by Christian Psychologist Dr. Timothy Jennings. You would find then fascinating.

One option is to join chat groups where you can interact with people that you want to reach

Sorry: still today the Bible is the most famous book of all time and Jesus the most famous person of all time…And it has passed 2021 years and there was no internet o social networks, no mobile phones, no TV, no media…

This has been on my heart for 3 years. Such a procrastinator. Mere Christianity really spoke to me about reaching others through radio (now a days video) and books. Keep me in prayer as I step out and stop procrastinating and do what I know the Lord has set before me. I have a few of your books JWW. Good stuff

Something I've noticed when I stream is that I make a lot of references and commentary between what I'm playing and the Bible, and a part of me wonders if that's something I could make a permanent part of my life even as I work towards becoming a professor and writer.

I´m thinking about writing a book or creating a vlog/website. After that maybe a channel with videos but I think that the power of the written word is the shortest way to the man hearts. Like in the Bilble happens words can be spiritually alive and living in our mind/hearts.
