Are Young People Really Leaving Christianity?
The number of young people who identify as Christians continues to decrease. Why is this the case? J. Warner Wallace answers this question in his “Think Like a Detective”series on RightNow Media, the “Netflix of Christian Bible Studies”. If your church is subscribed to RightNowMedia, you can watch the Cold-Case Christianity Bible Study or the Forensic Faith Bible Study. You can also purchase the DVD set for the Cold-Case Christianity group study (it comes with a facilitator’s guide) along with the Cold-Case Christianity Participant’s Guide.

maybe its because people are tired of being lectured to by the one man show, and instead, deeply need community, a place and a people to share life together. too many churches promise much, but give absolutely nothing. i mean, 45 minutes to an hour listening to a lecture about some random biblical teaching that has nothing to do with their life? there simply is no discipleship, theres not even a solid foundation of what to believe anymore. people will not stay if their mental, emotional, and spiritual needs are not met.

Thank you for this. I left the faith during university because I saw no reason to believe that Christ had risen from the dead. I had no idea that there was so much evidence because no one told me.
