Give me three scriptures to show me where Jesus or any of the true followers through history ever participated in government affiliation

Dang this was posted 8 years ago?? Took me till this year to realize these things were heading down a dysfunctional path 😣 I was limited in understanding and had good intentions- ain’t that always how we fall? but I’m here now. I do like how Turek is about personal accountability. We can do this brothers and sisters!

As a Christian who attempted to get into politics, I warn you in the strongest terms, don’t let them steal your soul! I am so glad I did not win my election after eight years of wondering why.

Your teaching is unscriptural! True Christians do not get involved in the politics of the world! “. . .Jesus answered: “My Kingdom is no part of this world. If my Kingdom were part of this world, my attendants would have fought that I should not be handed over to the Jews. But as it is, my Kingdom is not from this source.. . .” Joh 18:36. You get involved in the world politics you are responsible for the bloodshed it causes and your even opposing God! Jesus did not get involved even when they tried to make him king over the Jews.

You are twisting the scriptures!!! The Pharisees were religious leaders, they held no power and or office of authority in Rome. They feared of loosing their position due to Jesus exposing their hypocrisy and showed that they were nothing but liars who actually worshiped Satan ( John chapter 8).

Religion writer Jonathan Dymond, said early Christians “refused to engage in [war]; whatever were the consequences, whether reproach, or imprisonment, or death.” They chose to suffer rather than compromise their neutral stand. Their moral code also set them apart. Christians were told: “Because you do not continue running with them in this course to the same low sink of debauchery, they are puzzled and go on speaking abusively of you.” (1 Peter 4:4) Historian Will Durant wrote that Christians “were troubling the pleasure-mad pagan world with their piety and their decency.

The world is coming to an end!!! It can not be avoided! There is no man-made government that will survive Armageddon “. . .“In the days of those kings the God of heaven will set up a kingdom that will never be destroyed. And this kingdom will not be passed on to any other people. It will crush and put an end to all these kingdoms, and it alone will stand forever,” Da 2:44 Oh and TD on the video.

What is the point if politics are going to play a big part on the end of the world ?

With the MSM having vilified Saddam to praise the globalists who invaded the Middle East (Bush Sr – Obama), many missed that he had a Christian on his cabinet. A muslim who had a Christian in his parliament in a muslim country. But Saddam could not be bought out and the people refused to riot and rebel against him. So Bush warred him out of his country. The oil was a bonus.
While Saddam was in charge, Christians had freedom of religion and women had freedom of dress and employment.

It is 2021 and on the first day of his term Joe Biden – the illegitimate president, signed 17 executive orders, memoranda and proclamations signed just to dismantle the policies of the previous government. God help us

Sure voting is nice … but Gov doesnt control anything! Private Sector controls everything. Federal Reserve! President has no power at all. Just serving the code that they are apart of and working towards their goals.

What do you mean by that? What brought you to that idea?

If the private sector running the show were true …. would you do a class on it?

what do you propose for n.k? public pressure? Military intervention, even having just cause, is highly problematic. The law of unitended consequences will most likely rear its ugly head, assuming it wasnt u.s airforces intent to carprt bomb n.k in 51 was it, killing 2 million or so civilians.

Assuming that christians must be involved in politics in this age, shows up that you don't know how the world works nowadays. The political structure is now a facade for a new form of government that soon will be revealed. Politics are now a distraction. Politics can't change the things that make the difference in our society.

Christians should definitely get into politics. However if you have a unique spiritual calling you have not business in politics. The two simply do not mix.

Well, too bad Trump is one of the candidates running for the presidency again, so I guess this time will be for the democrat party once again. This is mess up all over the place. At this point, it makes no difference who wins.

These days, the Law is perverted by layers and layers of corruption. The most effective thing a Christian can do for this country now is just pray.

Christians must put their hope in the Kingdom of God (Matt 6:9, 10) not Satan's Political circus (1 John 5:19. Luke 4:5, 6. Rev 12:9).

why do we have so many people claim to be Christian but secular videos are close to a billion views but videos like this have no more than 25 K, where are you so called Christians, what are you watching, what are you feeding your spirit?

There is a balance however. Jesus did not preach for Christians to protest like most protester do. The make objective is the Gospel. But I agree Christians should be active in government especially holding office. If one goes to far and leaves the gospel behind of breaks th law trying to advocate politics then it becomes a road too far. Is lys in the eyes of the beholder.

Very practical case maybe but not very biblical. Since every politician is evil would the voter be liable for every sin committed? We are called to be in the world not of the world. What about christians in non democratic countries? Are they supposed to stage a coup?

But the people in South Korea don't enjoy freedom b/c of their own works, wasn't b/c they voted for it. The US fought a long war to keep the communist in the north, would have freed the whole country if Truman hadn't chickened out but thats the only reason why the South is free. Wasn't b/c of voting. lol

Should Christian's be in politics? Jesus said "My Kingdom is no part of this world." The people wanted to crown him as king and he fled. He said, "Pay Ceasars things to Ceasar. Pay God's things to God." He spoke against Pharisees about their roles as religious leaders. I think the answer is pretty clear.

There would be so many less societal problems if Christians voted consistent with Christian doctrine. But they don’t because we have a huge problem. The churches are filled with Tares and sadly many are pastored by tares as well.
