Every reason you stated about why Evangelicals voted for Trump were the same reasons why I voted for him and will again. I totally agree with Mr Mangs statements too !!

I have never been one to be deeply involved in politics nor push my personal view on social media.
Reason being, my hope is not in horses or chariots but in The Lord my God!
With that said, I do believe our political view, and stand on issues can be a spiritual X-ray as to the purity of our Christian faith. Abortion, same sex marriage, defending Israel; I have found all other biblical issues to spiritually and morally to fall under these three categories.
I have been meditating lately on the faith of Elijah; a man who was very much involved in the politics of his day and spoke out confronting the demons within the “political system” of king Ahab and queen Jezebel that was clearly a campaign from Hell to corrupt and divide the people of God.
Elijah, was not manipulated by a spirit of fear to what people would say or do.
As every child of God should be, Elijah was politically incorrect and scripturally sound.
His identity in God was secure enough to withstand the rejection of his own people. When we bow before God, we can stand before any man.
As a follower of Jesus, I’ve had to check my own heart in regards to the fear of man and any compromise in speaking The Truth. No doubt last year‘s polls as I believe this year’s polls reflect such fear.
Sadly, by sharing my thoughts, my Biblical convictions, I have had people that I care about persecute me and cut me off disqualifying me as their pastor. As deeply as that has saddened me, I find myself compelled to speak the truth in love with hope for repentance in the church, and a Nation restored under The God we claim to trust in.
As I have always voted my faith, (as every real Christian should), in spite of all President Trumps fleshly flaws, (and there are MANY), I can say he is by far my favorite president in my lifetime.
Not favorite character personality to be sure, but favorite keeper of the promises he made during his election.
Sure, like you, I’d much prefer our President to have the statesman like class of a Ronald Regan. We must be careful to not let our own self righteousness blind us to the big picture of what God is doing.
God took a big mouth like apostle Peter and used him in amazing ways! He was always sticking his foot in his mouth. (I can relate)
I’ve found in life, that it’s usually the most dysfunctional relationships that are used to bring about the greatest exposure of self, and ultimately, the blessing!
Regardless of how things turn out in November, I trust in the sovereignty of God to work all things together for good for those that love him and are called according to His purpose. Meantime, Ill pray my faith, I’ll live my faith, which means, I’ll will vote my faith.
Ill take an arrogant Bull in a china shop that will continue to stand up against the corruption in our government and for the Chuch over a political hack who has said one thing and done another for decades , every time.
Regardless of the various times I have cringed and shaken my head at the tweets and choices of our President, I clearly see The Sovereign hand of God moving in this Presidency. Possibly, giving a rebellious nation it’s last chance to repent and turn back to God.
When I see the stand of God through a person, how can I say I’m devoted to God and not stand with and pray for His imperfect vessel of choice?
Within the church today, I sometimes feel like I'm an Israelite back in Babylon at the crossroad of deliverance, listening to brothers and sisters argue as to if God would use a pagan King like Cyrus to bless His people.
May we as His people have an ear to listen to the voice of our good shepherd in this valley of death were walking through.
I am praying for the church to become One that our country might turn its eyes back upon The One True God, The Lord & Savior Jesus Christ, our ONLY hope.

California has already said that theft of less than $950 will not be prosecuted as a crime in this state. It doesn't work well; people keep going into stores and just picking up stuff and walking out with it. I don't think the non-enforcement is working very well, never thought it would. Convince the politicians of that.

Churchill said- The most valuable thing in the world is the truth, Its so valuable that most often it's hidden within a bodyguard of lies. If the most valuable lesson is the truth, how important is the truth during the electoral process?

If it doesn't survive, you may as well turn the lights out – to someone who's mind is bend towards deceit and lies, the darkness becomes the light! I'm a Christian and am sad to say, most white Christians and those in office who identify publicly has catered to the president's immorality, deceit, and lies.

Look at who most evangelicals support- the biggest liar in American history. Since the majority of Christians support an immoral liar, someone who said they never had to ask for forgiveness because they haven't don't anything wrong and justify everything amoral about him, we've completely lost our identity. If you lose your identity, not only do you violate the fundamentals of truth, you violate the fundamentals of REASON!

That's why no one listens to Christians anymore. Frank, i love listening to you and how you speak about the word, but now, I'm hearing different things. So please, for the love of GOD, get away from this dude! Speak the truth, live by the truth (if you live by HIS word) the truth will set us free. Without truth, we are nothing. It's ruining the identity of the religion.

    “Policy trumps demeanor.”
    Thank you
When Romni ran against Obama and I didn’t vote (I wasn’t open to Libertarian as an alternative or protest vote of conscience), because I felt like voting for Romni validated a cult. Please understand that I was a relatively new Christian, registered as an independent while transitioning from a free thinking liberal to a biblical free thinking conservative. Shalom

The government may use force to enforce the last 6 commandments but not the first 4. They can’t force who we worship or when we worship.

Why are Christians concerned with shaping the same pattern of the world they are called to no longer conform to? I believe they should be countercultural and far more concerned with building the kingdom that is NOT of this world.

That’s the thing I don’t like the statement but we not voting for pastors. To be fair the main two commandments are what abortion and homosexual no they are wrong but the two are love god and love each through gods love. In conclusion republicans are loving god more but are they treating others with gods love? In my opinion both sides are wrong but all I believe governments should do is help people and heal people that’s why I’m still with Bernie. The Bible says people will attack religious freedom but even if they do I know god doesn’t give us a spirit of fear and if they put me on a cross or jail for following Christ that’s nothing new Christians been gone through that.

. . . Because Christ followers actually strive to look in the mirror before judging their fellow man. Mr. Trump has many extraordinary skill sets; negotiating skills, financial wisdom, intellectual honesty, emotional discipline etc. God uses all of us and desires that no one perish. Pray for our president, God calls us to do so!

Why did evangelicals vote for Trump? Because they think he's going to make them richer, and evangelicals are only in this whole Jesus business for the money.

    5 Reasons Why:

    1) There was no other good alternative.
    2) People voted for a president, not a pastor.
    3) Policy trumps demeanor.
    4) Judges, judges, judges.
    5) Trump fights important battles other republicans won’t (and he fights fearlessly).

It just goes to show how the so-called Evangelical 'Christians' over in America have fallen by the wayside. The name of the Lord Jesus has become a 'slogan' to be used in an argument and the love for spiritual truth and the Lordship of Christ have gone out the door. All they think of is money, money, money and how to be successful in this world. As described in Revelation ch. 3, 'they have a name that they live, but are dead'. The man is a two-faced liar and any Christian who supports him should be ashamed of themselves.
