I find social media incredibly toxic and unhealthy for me personally. I would rather engage someone face to face. I agree that Christians should have a presence on social media but I don't find it good for my mental health to spend time there.

Social media can be used for spreading the gospel. Some people call it using the devil for traction.

Totally use social, but in our use of it we need to reflect Christ, loving our neighbour and enemies, showing grace and leading to meaningful interactions 👍

Whenever I point out something that not an christian would do online, I get hit with the "no true scotsman" logic fallacy… eventhough what I critiqued was clearly anything but righteous living or behaviour of an influencer.. like..
-taking the Lord's name in vain..
    -swearing angerly..
-playing erotic games (although censored for broadcast)
-calling people idiots left and right
    -and more worldy behaviours..

    How to respond to that?

Background: Pewdiepie does this mock "christian channel!" while doing mock monk praying hands.. when he used to hinder himself from swearing on his channel after great "Adpocalyse" started happening 1-2 years ago.. where videos and channels got demonetized for swearing, showing nudity, talking about controversial subjects, politics and so on..

Yes, we should engage in social media to tell the people about the Kingdom of God. However, we should not think that we can win people in Christ by winning a debate. It's the Holy Spirit who removes the heart of stone and gives the heart of flesh.

There's no discussion anywhere else. Msm is total propaganda and no feedback mechanism. Google's getting worse. We need to do everything we can.

Social media is full of evil. If Christians don't participate in it and use it to do God's will, then they are just handing it over to Satan.

Without social media how would all those people who believe the earth is flat have ever found each other?

I am 72 and my friends and I engage in social media to help others see the problem in thinking false truths. This is important for Christians young and older…

As long as you keep believing your opposition is satanic and evil, there necessarily will be conflict. Your belief is the problem, it is the cause of enmity and tribalism between believers and unbelievers.

I am no genius and in my late 60s but I have been on the Net for 20 years. It hurts me to hear one of my contemporaries proclaim his surrendered to modern technology. Too often I have heard, "that there intranet (sic) is for young folks. I'm not bothering with it." It makes me cringe.
